The 14th EU Non-Proliferation and Disarmament Conference, organized by the Istituto Affari Internazionali (IAI \u2013 Institute of International Affairs), is currently being held in Brussels. The Conference is funded by the European Union within the framework of the activities carried out by the EU Non-Proliferation and Disarmament Consortium.<\/p>\n
The event brings together experts from governments, international organizations, and research institutions worldwide to discuss all aspects of the EU\u2019s non-proliferation and disarmament agenda, including arms control, chemical, biological, and nuclear weapons, space security, and emerging technologies.<\/p>\n
The Conference opened yesterday with a remote address by IAEA Director General Rafael Mariano Grossi, and will conclude today with a speech by the UN High Representative for Disarmament Affairs, Under-Secretary-General Izumi Nakamitsu.<\/p>\n
