The intersessional meetings of the Anti-Personnel Mine Ban Convention (APMBC), the legal instrument that prohibits the use, production, stockpiling, and transfer of anti-personnel mines, opened today in Geneva.
The Italian delegation is taking part in the meetings, reaffirming Italy’s strong commitment to promoting the goals of the Convention, particularly support for clearance processes and humanitarian assistance to victims.
